It feels like we’re on day 48392 of this thing. And while we've adapted, coped and pushed onward, it still feels like Groundhog Day a lot of the time. We’ve done the cardboard box rocket ships. We've done the virtual how-to-draws and we've made so much slime that I really would love to never see slime again.

We’ve all found that creativity has been the ultimate cure for cabin fever. But with the perpetual need to research, curate and compile the appropriate supplies, creativity can also be downright exhausting.
That’s why we started looking for ways to outsource. Lucky for us, we found the sweetest DIY studio less than one mile from our house.
The Painted Plank opened just a few years ago on the Post Road in Milford. And it has quickly become a community favorite for DIY’ers of all ages.
The cozy studio offers build-your-own sign workshops allowing you to create a one of a kind personalized wood signs with friends and family.
And this is truly the ultimate paint and sip!
CURRENT GUIDELINES: Under the current guidelines, The Painted Plank is currently operating on a private-party basis. Minimum of 8. Masks Required. The Painted Plank offers private parties for children ages 10+.
Like many businesses, The Painted Plank has pivoted during this last year to offer Take-and-make kits for both adults and children.

With seemingly endless galleries of projects to choose from, The Painted Plank offers weekly take-and-make projects available for pickup on Thursday afternoons.
Order links are open from Thursday to Tuesday at 6pm sharp. Then, you can pick up your signs on Thursday between 3-6pm.
Kids Projects can be viewed in the Kids Gallery and are $20.
Adult projects can be viewed in the Main Gallery and are $45
We recently got together with a group of friends from our homeschool pod for a crafternoon party with The Painted Plank.

And you guys, it was so fun!
Each child was able to select their own sign from the Kid’s Gallery and choose a personalized version with their name. From horses to sharks, video games to Harry Potter, each child’s sign came out unique and truly beautiful.
We will absolutely be making additional signs - especially as we head into spring.
